The Waterloo Times Friday, April 16, 1915 West Hecker The Blackburn school closed April the 8th. Mrs. Joe Mueth returned home Wednesday from St. Louis. Frank Metz and family were the guests of Joe Schilling Sunday. George Boll, wife and son spent Sunday with William Klotz and family. Mr. and Mrs. Levi Gregson and little daughter were visitors at Adam Brandt’s Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. George Lohrberg, Mrs. F. Kemp, Misses Clara, Josephine and Lena Mueth, Hilda and Martha Boll were guests of Mrs. Alice Brandt and family Sunday. A merry crowd gathered at the home of Peter Reheis Thursday April the 8th to help his wife celebrate her birthday. The evening was spent in playing euchre. The prizes were won by Mrs. Fred Birkner, Miss Louise Schilling, Messrs. Adam Euchart and Kenneth Kemp. There was lots of music and singing and also plenty to eat and drink. The party left after midnight wishing Mrs. Reheis many more happy returns of the day.
