Rather Tall For Fourteen Years Old

Frank Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Brown of Mulberry Grove Township, 
Bond County, who celebrated his fourteenth birthday recently, holds the record 
for being the largest 14 year-old boy in Illinois.

He is 6 feet 3 inches in height and weighs 210 pounds.  He has been spending the 
summer on the family farm; working off some of the surplus flesh which he 
accumulates in the fall and winter while attending Hillsboro public schools.

His tallest brother, Attorney J. R. Brown of Hillsboro, is 6 feet 6 inches tall.  The 
attorney is twelve years the senior of the “young giant.”
