The Waterloo Times Friday, September 24, 1915 Waterloo Couple Married Tuesday Miss Olinda Ruch, daughter of Theodore Ruch, was married to Mr. Charles Rehling, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Rehling, Tuesday afternoon at 3 o’clock. Rev. J. Nollau performed the ceremony which took place in the Evangelical parsonage. Miss Ella Rehling, sister of the groom, was the maid of honor, while Dwight Ruch, brother of the bride, was the groom’s best man. After the ceremony the wedding guests repaired to the home of the bride’s sister, Mrs. C. H. Koenigsmark, while an excellent wedding supper was served. The young couple also received many handsome and useful presents on this happy occasion. The newlyweds left here on the 7:30 car the same evening for their new home in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where the groom is employed as manager on the Brookwater Stock Farm. They were tendered a shower of rice and old shoes as the car pulled out of here. The Times was remembered with a generous slice of wedding cake. Their many friends join us in wishing them a long and prosperous married life. May their joy be many, and may they live long and happily is the wish of all their friends.
