Pape each purchased a fine team of mules from Baer Bros. Joe Williams and Dan Hergenroeder transacted business at Burksville one day last week. Misses Christie Wolf and Hulda Rippelmeyer visited at Prairie due Rocher Sunday. Gus Rippelmeyer is busy getting the fellows to work out their road tax. Get after them Gus. It is reported that our old neighbor, Mrs. Louis Buettner is going to move back on Calico Island soon. The Maeys Station base ball team practiced at C.J. Heatherly’s Sunday. They played a scrub team and beat them 8 to 6. Visitors at C.J. Heatherly’s Sunday were: Joe Williams and family, Dan Hergenroeder and family, Mense Van Buren and family, Louis Diemert and family, E. Hergenroeder and family and a number of youngsters.
