Whelan, both of St. Louis came out in a Packard touring car Thursday afternoon of last week, took out a marriage license, and were married by ‘Squire Louis S. Demint in the parlors of the City Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. George F. Koop accompanied the couple and witnessed the ceremony. Mr. Koop, the groomsman, acted the “Lady Bountiful” by distributing a box of ten cent cigars along Main Street in celebration of the happy event, but as usual ye editor was busy getting up copy for this edition and missed out on getting hone. Here’s hoping this will not worry either one of them. We wish them an abundance of good luck just the same.
