The Waterloo Republican Thursday, March 8, 1900 HECKER We are shut out by our Hello girl. Quite a number of our young folks enjoyed the snow. Dr. H. Heidelberg and family spent Sunday and Monday at Columbia, Ill. Alex. Null and family have moved to East. St. Louis where Mr. Null is employed in the Tudor Iron Works. John Keller living two miles north of Hecker will move to town he having rented the dwelling of Mrs. Eva Maxer. The Hecker town board will have their primary on March 17 to nominate candidates to be elected as town officers. The Hecker band landed in Smithton last Sunday. After playing some few pieces and refreshing themselves they returned home pleased with the trip.
