The annual kinderfest of the Evangelical of St. John’s congregation in Maeystown will take place Pentecost Monday, May 24. Everybody invited. Herman Hauptfleisch, living about four miles west of Waterloo will sell his stock and farm implements at public sales on Saturday, May 8. Sale commences at 10 o’clock a.m. Joseph W. Bertram at Valmeyer will open a season with a moonlight dance in his park on Sunday evening, May 9, and will give one every second Sunday thereafter. Everybody invited. The Young Ladies Society of St. Paul Evangelical Church will give a bazaar in Bickelhaupt’s pavilion, Saturday, May 8, beginning at 4 o’clock p.m. Light supper, ice cream and refreshments will be served. Also fish ponds and klondike for the little ones. There will also be apron and fancy tables.
