Brandt – Eckert

Married, in the Evangelical Zion’s church at New Hanover last Sunday, 
Miss Lizzie Eckert of Columbia to Mr. George Brandt, son of Mr. and 
Mrs. Louis Brandt, Rev. Eggen officiating.

Miss Elsie Harres of Columbia acted as bridesmaid and Herman Brandt, 
a brother of the groom, was his best man.

A celebration took place at the home of the groom’s parents after the wedding 
which wound up in the evening with a dance for all in the Fischer’s hall.

The young people went to housekeeping at once on a farm near New Hanover.  
Their many friends throughout the county extend hearty congratulations and wish 
them an abundance of luck on their journey through life.
