Kemper, Sr., made a business trip to Ivy Sunday evening. Mrs. Joseph Kemper and daughter Mary visited Mrs. Losse Wednesday. Henry Fults and Otto Dillenberger made a business trip to Maeystown Sunday. Mesdames John Rohre and Lee Fults gave Clarence Hursey a short call Friday. Carpenters are still busy on the house of John Rohre. They expect to finish this week. Albert Brant is keeping the roads hot with his new Dodge car. Look out for telephone poles, Albert. The solo club had their annual meeting at Kemper’s Landing Sunday night. Games lost, 5 by John Rohrs. A large shipment of hay and oats were unloaded at Kemper’s landing Friday evening from the Steamer Cape Girardeau. John Rohrs will give an Easter dance in his new home on Aubuchon Island on the night of Easter Monday. Everybody invited.
