The Waterloo Times May 28, 1915 FARMER KILLED IN QUARREL Modoc, Ill., May 21 – Wash Osborne, 56 years old, a farmer, early today shot and killed Albert Enzenauer, 30 years old, also a farmer, in a saloon here. The two men had been quarreling in the saloon and started outside to fight it out. As they neared the door Osborne drew a revolver and struck Enzenauer on the shoulder. Enzenauer, turned, saw the revolver and started to flee. Osborne fired two shots at him, one taking effect in his back. The men quarreled two years ago over one of Osborne’s sons. Enzenauer was married and leaves a widow and three children.
