The Waterloo Republican October 28, 1914 RENAULT Earl Sale is in St. Louis this week. Dr. Isom had company from Rockwood Saturday. Philip Schmidt was a St. Louis visiting for a few days. Miss Lizzie Frisch is at home from the city on a visit to her parents. Miss Rook visited her Aunt Anderson and family near Ames last Friday. Mrs. May Pullen and baby Raymond returned to their home in Crystal City a few days ago. Miss Louise Schlemmer from near Wartburg spent last week in Renault with her relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Armin Nolau and baby of Waterloo and Wm. Burkhardt were Renault visitors last week. Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Jackson of Waterloo were down in this part of the country Friday and Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. C.S. Hurley and sons Paul and Floyd from near Fults were Renault visitors Sunday and attended church here. Rev. McPherson of Lebanon, Illinois was here Saturday and Sunday and held the usual services in the Methodist church last Sunday. Albert Quernheim, his sisters Misses Olga and Edna and cousin Sylvia all of Waterloo visited their relatives in this neighborhood Saturday and Sunday. Mrs. Mary Kunkel (need Vogel) died at her home and was buried here in the Catholic cemetery after services in the Catholic Church last Wednesday Oct. 21. She leaves her husband and eight children and a number of grandchildren and a host of friends to mourn her loss. The children are Mrs. Nick Goodman, Mrs. Henry Schmitz, Henry, Rosa, Viola, Willie, Herbert and Bertha.
