The congregation was founded in 1849 as an Evangelical Church with the existing marriage records
beginning in 1850. Marriage records for 1850 thru 1938 can be found on Microfilm Roll # 1006419;
items 3-5; at the Family History Library, Salt Lake City, Utah. Information enclosed in brackets [ ] is NOT
found in the original record but has been added by Mr. Buecher either as a correction or for
clarification. Additional information may be found in the original record that is NOT found in this index.
When words in the original records were written with an umlaut [two dots over the vowels "A", "O", or
"U"], they have been typed here as "AE", "OE", or "UE".
