Osterhage, Ida nee Hoffmann Ida Osterhage nee Hoffmann, 80, of Waterloo, died March 15, 2007, in Waterloo. She was born May 15, 1926, in Maeystown, the daughter of the late Edwin J. and Rose Hoffmann nee Lehman. She was married to Warren Osterhage. Mrs. Osterhage is survived by her husband; siblings Ardel Mueller of Waterloo, Lee (Grace) Hoffmann of Waterloo, and Kay (Dennis) Ritzel of Highland Heights, Ohio; sisters-in-law Dorothy Hoffmann of Columbia, and Nadine Osterhage of Waterloo; and nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Kermit Hoffmann; sister Dorothy Hoffmann; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Richard Studt, Alice Studt, Earl Osterhage, Halbert Mueller and Vernon Hoffmann. Mrs. Osterhage was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Waterloo. She was also a member of the Afternoon’s Women’s Guild, was a former captain of the American Heart Association, and was a former employee at the Chic Shoppe in Waterloo.
