Breeding, Paul Sr. Paul Breeding Sr., 89, of Columbia, died June 4, 2007, in St. Louis. He was born March 1, 1918, in Timber, Mo., the son of the late Alfred D. and Martha Jane Breeding nee Tune. He was married to Irene Breeding nee Schroeter. Mr. Breeding is survived by his wife; children Robert (Mary) Stephens of Columbia, Roy (Teresa) Stephens of Columbia, Sheryl (Brian) Pautler of Columbia, Paul (Penny) Breeding Jr. of Lebanon, Mo., Johnny Breeding of St. Charles, Mo.; Danny Breeding of Warrenton, Mo., Sharon Koenig of Warrenton, Mo., Theresa Eddy of Salem, Mo., and Ronnie Breeding of Salem, Mo.; 24 grand children; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters Cinderella Schaeffer of Salem, Mo., Clara Lindhorst of Sparta, and Doris Hurt of St. Louis; brother Earl Breeding of Columbia; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters. Mr. Breeding was a retired tool maker with Cupples Products in St. Louis. He was a member of American Legion Post #581 in Columbia and VFW Post #6504 in Waterloo. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Visitation and a funeral service were at Lawlor Funeral Home. He is buried at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the St. Louis chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
