Abernathy, Ronald L. 

Ronald L. Abernathy, 60, of St. Louis, died May 3, 2007, in St. Louis. He 
was born July 30, 1946, in St. Louis, the son of the late Lane and Wayve 
Abernathy nee Chrisman. He was married to Patricia Abernathy nee Fults. 
Mr. Abernathy is survived by his wife; children Christopher Abernathy of 
Arlington Heights; and Karen (Kelly) Pearce of St. Louis; grandson Andrew 
Pearce; brother Larry (Kathy) Abernathy of Jacksonville, Mo.; sister Debra
 (John) Rosenfeld of Ketchikan, Alaska; father- and mother-in-law Larry and 
Doris Fults of Waterloo; and nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded 
in death by his parents. Mr. Abernathy was a pharmacist at Waterloo 
Wal-Mart for many years. Visitation and a funeral service were at Quernheim 
Funeral Home, Pastor Nancy Spier-Lee officiating. Memorials may be made 
to the American Diabetes Association.
