Edith L. Meister nee Law, 73, of Waterloo died Feb. 12, 2004 at Red Bud. She was the wife of Frederick A. Meister. She was born July 13, 1930 at Waterloo the daughter of the late Oscar D. and Louise A. Law nee Feldmeier. Besides her husband, Mrs. Meister is survived by two daughters, Heidi (Steve) Notheisen, Wendy (Richard) Juenger; a son Ross Meister; four grandchildren, Drew and Brad Notheisen and Maeve and Leah Juenger. Two sisters, Florence Schiemer and Marian E. Law and one brother Arthur Law preceded her in death. Mrs. Meister was a retired secretary for Manufacturers Railway and the Waterloo Public Schools. She was a member of St. Paul UCC of Waterloo, the Order of the Eastern Star, Al Sihah Temple and Daughters of the Nile. Visitation was at the Quernheim Funeral Home. A funeral was Feb. 16 at St. Paul UCC in Waterloo the Rev. Michael Dixon officiating. Burial was at Kolmer Memorial Cemetery.
