Marvin L. "Mac" McKinney, 74, of Waterloo died Feb. 1, 2004 He was the 
husband of Darlene M. (Jones) McKinney nee Yehling. Mr. McKinney 
was born Feb. 28, 1929 at Edwardsville the son of the late Clarence L. 
and Della McKinney nee Van Hoosier. Besides his wife he is survived 
by three sons, Steve (Leslie) Jones, Randy (Sheri) Jones and Rick (Sue) 
Jones; a daughter Sandy (Tom) Bequette; a cousin Joy (Rich) Hunt; 
special niece Lynda (Charles) Williams; 12 grandchildren and five great 
grandchildren; and other relatives. Mr. McKinney was a member of the 
Maeystown Sportsman's Club, VFW Post 6504, the Fleet Reserve 
Association, a navy veteran of WWII as a submarine machinist mate at 
Iwo Jima, Korea and as a Vietnam observer. Visitation was at the 
Quernheim Funeral Home. Pastor Stuart Rethwisch presided at private 
funeral services.
