Ruby Blakeslee nee Spencer, 88, or Prairie du Rocher, died August 1, 2004, in 
Red Bud. She was born May 2, 1916, in West Eminence, Mo., the daughter of 
the late John and Elizabeth Spencer nee Jewell. She is survived by her children 
Raymond (Betty) Blakeslee, of Waterloo, Edna (Harold) Amorine, of Parks Hills, 
Mo., and Karl (Rose) Blakeslee, of Prairie du Rocher; step-daughter Donna 
Blakeslee, of Ellington, Mo.; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, 
nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter 
Elizabeth Lohman, and grandchildren John Blakeslee, Robert Blakeslee and Harold 
W. Amorine. Her visitation and funeral were at Quernheim Funeral Home. She is 
buried at Kolmer Memorial Cemetery in Waterloo.
