Shelton, Mary L. nee Smith
Mary L. Shelton nee Smith, 62, of Marissa, formerly of Valmeyer, died Dec. 4, 2006, 
in Marissa. She was born May 22, 1944, in Wetauge, the daughter of the late Harley E. 
and Mary L. Smith nee Phalin. She was married to the late Ralph James Shelton. Mrs. 
Shelton is survived by her brother Ray W. (Linda) Smith of Marissa, and nieces, nephews 
and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and three brothers. A 
graveside service was held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
