Raitt, Mary Margaret nee Moore
Mary Margaret Raitt nee Moore, 84, of Waterloo, formerly of Dupo, died 
Oct. 15, 2006, in Waterloo. She was born Feb. 17, 1922, in Ackerman, 
Miss., the daughter of the late Lee A. and Eva Moore nee Porter. She was 
married to the late Hubert S. Raitt Sr. Mrs. Raitt is survived by her children 
Scott (Kathy) Raitt of Waterloo, and Joyce (Kevin) Kerr of Rockton; 
grandchildren Jodi (Don) Doerr, Jan (Jim) Turley, Stephanie Kerr and Hillarie 
Kerr; great-grandchildren Jennifer Warner, Jimmy Turley and Jenny Turley; 
siblings Sara Frances Jenkins of Memphis, Tenn., Bob (June) Moore of 
Stockbridge, Ga., and Esther (Joe) Rockwell of Pascagoula, Miss.; sisters-
in-law Ruth Raitt of Dupo and Tommie Raitt of Las Vegas, Nev.; and nieces, 
nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. 
Mrs. Raitt was a member of First Baptist Church of Waterloo. She was also 
a member of Eastern Star. She was a longtime employee of Monroe County 
Care and Rehab Center and was a certified instructor at Belleville Area 
College. Visitation and a funeral service were at Quernheim Funeral Home, 
Pastor Steve Nell officiating. She is buried at Valhalla Cemetery in Belleville.
