Koch, Raymond C.
Raymond C. Koch, 81, of Waterloo, died February 9, 2006, in Columbia. He 
was born March 14, 1924, in Waterloo, the son of the late Fred H. and Mamie 
Koch nee Schmidt. He was married to the late Luella Koch nee Rippelmeyer. 
Mr. Koch is survived by his son David (Kathryn) Koch of Ouray, Colo.; grandd-
aughter Alicia Roberts; brother Delbert Koch of Columbia; sister Esther Giffhorn of 
Columbia; and nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, 
wife, sister Frieda Rippelmeyer, and brother George Hoerr. Mr. Koch was a member 
of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Columbia. Visitation and funeral services were 
at Quernheim Funeral Home, Pastor Bob Koch officiating. He is buried at Waterloo 
Cemetery in Waterloo. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
