Gravot, Aileen Bernice nee Sutter
Aileen Bernice Gravot nee Sutter, 76, of Millstadt, died Dec. 3, 2006, in Millstadt. 
She was born Dec. 9, 1929, in Bixby, the daughter of the late Henry and Edna 
Sutter nee Hoock. She was married to Joseph B. Gravot in 1946. Mrs. Gravot is 
survived by her husband; sons Joel Gravot of St. Louis, Alan (Joanne) Gravot of 
Gibbstown, N.J., and Michael (Christine) Gravot of Paulsboro, N.J.; grandchildren 
Morgan Gravot, Aileen Gravot, Leisl Gravot and Evelyn Townsend, all of Paulsboro, 
N.J., and Christopher Gravot of Swansea; brother Clarence (Georgine) Sutter of 
Millstadt; sister Gladys (John) Fischer of Columbia; nieces Marilyn (Harold) Hughes 
of Millstadt, and Karen (Gerald) Rains of Belleville; nephews Norman (Sandra) 
Sutter, Clay (Tammi) Sutter, Kevin (Tina) Cason, all of Millstadt, Dan Cason of 
Hecker, and Gerald (Patricia) Fischer of Collinsville; sister-in-law Dortha May 
Cason of Collinsville; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death 
by her parents and nephew Wayne Sutter. Mrs. Gravot was a member of Trinity 
Lutheran Church in Millstadt. Visitation was at Strauss Funeral Home. A funeral 
service was at Trinity Lutheran Church in Millstadt, Pastor Michael Kumm officiating. 
She is buried at Lakeview Memorials Gardens in Fairview Heights. Memorials may 
be made to Trinity Lutheran Church in Millstadt.
