Adams, Fern nee Stafford
Fern Adams nee Stafford, 90, of Columbia, died Oct. 21, 2006. She was 
born Sept. 19, 1916, in Boss, Mo., the daughter of the late Mont and Minta 
Stafford nee Stuart. She was married to the late I. Russell Adams; he preceded 
her in death in 1974. Mrs. Adams is survived by her sons Tom (Joan) Adams 
of Columbia, and Gary (Janice) Adams of Peoria; grandchildren Mark (Tamara) 
Kohlenberger, Shawn Adams, Erik Adams and Chris Adams; great-grandchildren 
Olivia Kohlenberger and Emily Kohlenberger; and brothers Winford Stafford of 
Fenton, Mo., and Glenn (Margaret) Stafford of Barnhart, Mo. She was preceded 
in death by her parents and sisters Alma Parker and Geraldine Bay. Mrs. Adams 
was a member of First Baptist Church of Columbia. She was retired from Ricetix in
St. Louis as a machine operator. Visitation and a funeral service were at Lawlor Funeral 
Home, Rev. Don Branson officiating. She is buried at Boss Cemetery in Boss, Mo.
