"Celia Dougherty nee Butler died in St. Louis September 3, 1903, aged 76 years, 10 months.
Mrs. Butler was one of our old citizens and well known among our older people.  She was
 a daughter of Abram Clark, one of the early pioneers.
Of the family her sister Olive Parker of Chicago and David Clark of St. Louis survive.
She was buried in Calvary cemetery."
