The Waterloo Republican May 1971 Mrs. Roseman Died Sunday Mrs. Alma Elizabeth Roseman, 59, wife of William J. Roseman Sr., R.R. 2, Waterloo, died suddenly at 9:45 a.m. Sunday, May 2, at her home. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Dashner Funeral Home in Dupo, a nd burial was in the Palmer Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Roseman was born at Monroe City, October 4, 1911, and was a lifelong resident of the area. She is survived by seven sons, Raymond Hasty, Dupo; Richard Hasty, Villa Park; Norman Hasty of Atlanta, Ga; Alfred Hasty, Truth or Consequence, N.M.; Arthur Hasty, St. Peters, Mo.; Thomas Hasty, Murphysboro; and Donald Hasty, Cahokia; three daughters, Mrs. Ivan (Bertha) Foutch of East Carondelet, Mrs. Harvey (Shirley) Waters of Mena, Ark., and Mrs. James (Betty) Kroll of Cahokia; a step-son William J. Roseman, Jr., of Waterloo; four step-daughters, Mrs. George (Irma) Ripplemeyer of Valmeyer, Mrs. Herman (Shirley) Rippelmeyer, and Mrs. LeRoy (Wanda) Horn of Waterloo and Mrs. Lyle (Margaret) Tempel of Granite City; three sisters, Mrs. Annie Hoffman, Castle Haven Nursing Home, Swansea, and Mrs. Alvin (Bertha) Riebling, and Mrs. August (Edna) Wagner of Dupo; three brothers, Armin Schlemmer, North Dupo; Sylvester Schlemmer, Waterloo and Adolph Schlemmer, Columbia; and 33 grandchildren.
