Obituary, The Waterloo Republican, Feb. 9, 1972: "Mary Reinhold Died Feb. 3. Recitation of the rosary was at 7 p.m. Sunday and Requiem Mass at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Francis Church, Bakersfield, Calif., for Mrs. Mary Reinhold, 80, 430 Jefferson St., Bakersfield, who died Feb. 3 in a Bakersfield hospital. The Right Rev. Msgr. Patrick Leddy officiated and burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Mrs. Reinhold was a native of Illinois and resided in Calif 16 years. Survivors include three daughters, Hilda Flynn and Carolyn Dick, both of Illinois; Elinor Taylor of Calif; two sons, Leo Spriesterbach and George Sloan of Bakersfield; three brothers, Arthur and Herbert Bertram, both of Waterloo; and Leonard Bertram of St. Louis; four sisters, Sister Mary Gregory of St. Louis, Edith Hug of Wentzville, Mo., Hilda Miller and Theresa Hellmer, both of St. Louis; 20 grandchildren and six great grandchildren."
