The Waterloo Paper June 11, 1930 MAY Patrick May, died at the home of his son Alfred at Burksville Station, Ill., Friday, June 8, at 8 o’clock in the evening after a lingering illness in his 74th year. His wife preceded him in death about 18 months ago. He leaves two sons, Martin of Renault and Alfred of Burksville, also 12 grandchildren. He also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Mary Tute of Los Angeles, Cal. and Mrs. Agnes O’Leary of St. Louis and a brother John May of St. Louis. His remains were laid to rest Monday morning in Tiptown cemetery after requiem mass in St. Patrick’s church by Father Monaghan. The funeral was largely attended.
