Mrs. Anna Hoffmann, nee Wedel wife of Peter Hoffmann, died in St. Louis at St. Anthony’s 
Hospital on Tuesday, December 11, 1934.  The deceased was born in Columbia, a daughter 
of the later William Wedel and wife.  Her burial was made December 14 in St. Louis. Both 
she and her husband were well known in Columbia where Mr. Hoffmann was a bricklayer 
and stone mason.
