Heller, Viola B. nee Mennerich Viola B. Heller nee Mennerich, 87, of Waterloo, died October 8, 2005, in Red Bud. She was born November 1917, in Red Bud, the daughter of the late William and Louisa Mennerich nee Rall. She was married to the late Albert O. Heller. She is survived by her children Clyde (Joyce) Heller of Waterloo and Shirley Heller of Columbia; granddaughter Deanna (Allen) Champion of Waterloo; step-great-grandchildren Clara Champion and Jacob Champion; brother Albert Mennerich of Chester; sisters-in-law Frieda Mennerich of Chester, Irene (Monroe) Sickmeier of Chester, and Alverna Heller of Sparta; brother-in-law August Lohman of Ellis Grove; and nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters Olinda Lohman and Mayme Gaitsch; brother Oscar Mennerich; step-sisters Ella Fehrenz nee Mennerich and Theresa Dannenbrink nee Mennerich; step-brothers William Mennerich and Charles Mennerich; sisters-in-law Emma Harms and Lydia Mueller; and brother-in-law William Heller. Mrs. Heller was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Waterloo. She was also a member of Waterloo Quadrilles and Waterloo Senior Citizens. Visitation and funeral services were at Quernheim Funeral Home, Pastor Mary Beth Hartenstein officiating. She is buried at Kolmer Memorial Cemetery in Waterloo. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Monroe County or the American Cancer Society.
