Wild, Helen K. nee Lich Helen K. Wild nee Lich, 91, of Waterloo, died January 4, 2006, in Waterloo. She was born June 22, 1914, in Waterloo, the daughter of the late George and Mary Lich nee Steinsieck. She was married to the late Robert G. Wild. Mrs. Wild is survived by her children Roger (Judy) Wild of Waterloo, Ronald (Dora) Wild of Waterloo, and Larry (Marlene) Wild of Waterloo; grandchildren Tammy (Gary) Krebel of Columbia, Tim (Kim) Wild of Alton, Angie (Brian) Hoffmann of Waterloo, Randy (Tiffany) Wild of St. Louis, Heidi (Matt) Ruwald of Waterloo, and Amy (Lyle) Cope of Mt. Olive; five great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; sister Talida Nolting of Shakopee, Minn.; brothers Lewis Lich of Waterloo, and Robert Lich of St. Louis; sister-in-law Marie Lich of Waterloo; and nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother Alois Lich. Mrs. Wild was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Maeystown and Maeystown Women’s Fellowship. She was an avid quilter and RSVP volunteer. Visitation was at Quernheim Funeral Home. Funeral services were at St. John United Church of Christ in Maeystown, Pastor Ivan Horn officiating. She is buried at Kolmer Memorial Cemetery in Waterloo. Memorials may be made to St. John United Church of Christ in Maeystown, the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Southern Illinois.
