Holman, Patricia A. nee Dyke

Patricia A. Holman nee Dyke, 71, of Columbia, died January 26, 2006, in St. Louis. 
She was born October 19, 1934, in Watson, Mo., the daughter of the late Richard 
and Frances Dyke nee Harmon. She married the late Leonard W. Holman in 1953; 
he preceded her in death in 1994. Mrs. Holman is survived by her daughters Christine 
(John) Simmons of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and Jackqueline Holman of Columbia; son 
Leonard W. (Jody) Holman of Columbia; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; 
and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 
and brothers Richard Dyke and Donald Dyke. Mrs. Holman attended Bethany United 
Methodist Church in Columbia. She had worked at a marine cook with Luhr Brothers Inc. 
She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star in Cape Girardeau and American Legion 
Auxiliary Post #502 in Millstadt. Visitation was at Lawlor Funeral Home. Funeral services 
were at Bethany United Methodist Church, Pastor Ron Chase. A graveside service was 
held at Hobbs Chapel at United Methodist Church Cemetery in Cape Girardeau, Mo. 
Memorials may be made to Bethany United Methodist Church Building Fund or Hobbs 
Chapel United Methodist Church Building Fund.
