Heise, Dennis R. Dennis R. Heise, 94, of Columbia, died January 6, 2006, in Columbia. He was born April 15, 1911, in Columbia, the son of the late Henry and Emily Juergens Heise Myers nee Schlegel. He married Lucille Seib Heise nee Haudrich in 1990; she survives him. Mr. Heise is survived by his wife; special friends Allen (Perri) Hoock of Waterloo, and John (Dana) Hoock of Fults and their daughter, Lea Hoock; step-children Donna Jean (Roger) Christy of Naples, Fla., Walter Seib of New Mexico, and Mary Beth (Harold) Greer of Smithton; one step-grandson and two step-granddaughters; one step-great- grandson; nephew Larry (Brenda) Heise of Columbia; nieces Nancy Lee of Columbia and Susan (George) Teasley of Troy; and great-nieces and great-nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife Hilda Heise nee Kuni, son Dale Heise, brother Henry Heise, five half-sisters and two half-brothers. Mr. Heise was a retired maintenance supervisor of Monsanto Chemical Company. He was a member of Columbia Blue Lodge #474 AF & AM for 57 years, Scottish Rite Bodies in the Valley of Southern Illinois Masonic Order 32nd Degree, Shriners and Columbia Senior Citizens. There were no public services, per Mr. Heise’s wishes. He is buried at Evangelical St. Paul Cemetery in Columbia. Memorials may be made to Shriner’s Hospital for Children in St. Louis.
