Riebeling, Mary Veronica nee Hetzel
Mary Veronica (Bonnie) Riebeling, 83, of Columbia died Dec. 3 2003 at Sunbridge Rehabilitation 
Center, Edwardsville. She was the wife of the late Aloys G. Riebeling, Sr. Mrs. Riebeling was born 
April 5, 1920 the daughter of the late Walter and Susan (Borders) Hetzel. Survivors include a son 
Butch (Cheri) Riebeling; a daughter Mary Broome; a sister Helen Toenjes; grandchildren Michelle 
Menner, Jennifer Riebeling and Bryan Riebeling; and two great grandchildren. She was the retired 
owner of Weinel Hardware in Columbia, a member of Immaculate Conception Church, a former 
Boy Scout leader and an avid fisherman and kloepper player. Visitation was at the Lawlor Funeral 
Home where a funeral will be Saturday, Dec. 6 at 10 a.m., Father Carl Scherrer officiating. Burial 
will be at Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
