Obit Landgraf, Jerry F. Jerry F. Landgraf, 62, of Columbia, died February 19, 2005, at his residence. He was born November 20, 1942, the son of the late Carl A. Landgraf and Pearl Landgraf nee Juengling of Columbia. He married Kathleen Landgraf nee Neumeyer in 1966. He is survived by his sons Bradley Landgraf of Columbia and John Landgraf of Columbia; brother Carl (Mary) Landgraf of Columbia; sister Janey Edmiston of Manchester, Mo.; sister-in-law Alice (Cleon) West of Waterloo; brother-in-law John (Pam) Neumeyer of Waterloo; grandchildren Hayden Landgraf and Jacob Johnson; nieces and nephews Dawn, Jodi, Abby, Cris, Cami, Bryan, Terri, Colin and Brent; and an aunt, uncles, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father. Mr. Landgraf was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ. He retired last year as a captain with the Columbia Police Department. He was a past member of Columbia Volunteer Fire Department and past director of Columbia Emergency Medical Services. He was a charter member and first president of the Fraternal Order of Police – Monroe County, a lifetime member of the Illinois Police Association, a member of the Police Pension Board and Columbia Booster Club. He coached in the Columbia Khoury League and the Immaculate Conception School basketball program. Visitation was at Lawlor Funeral Home. Funeral services were at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Columbia, Pastor Michael Dixon officiating. He is buried at Evangelical St. Paul Cemetery.
