Foster, Ruth C. nee Ashton
Ruth C. Foster nee Ashton, 92, of Waterloo, died May 3, 2005, in Waterloo. She was born 
December 31, 1912, in Paragould, Ark., the daughter of the late Clarence and Winnie Ashton 
nee McCullough. She was married to the late Roy Foster. She is survived by her son Lee (Sue) 
Foster of Waterloo; step-son John Foster; grandchildren; sister Pat Tyner of Arkansas; and 
nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Mrs. Foster 
was a member of First Baptist Church in Waterloo. Visitation was at Quernheim Funeral Home. 
A graveside service was held at Rose Hill Cemetery in Thebes.
