Fieser, Herbert L.
Herbert L. Fieser, 79, of Columbia, died April 12, 2005, at his residence. He was born 
August 12, 1925, in Campbell, Mo., the son of the late Anthony and Sara Fieser nee Barns. 
He married the late Virginia Fieser nee Mead in 1968. He is survived by his children Louis 
Fieser of Twin Oaks, Mo., Sara Van Doren of Webster Grover, Mo., Pamela Bischoff of 
Crestwood, Mo., and Eric Fieser of Crestwood, Mo.; sisters Helen Anderson of St. Clair, 
Mo., Jean Hasty of St. Louis, Delores Rafferty of Brentwood, Mo., Agnes Johnson of 
California, Patricia Ackers of Aliston, Ala., and Barbara Brown of Afton, Mo.; brother 
James Fieser of Denver, Colo.; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death 
by his parents and sisters Esther Catalano and Marie Lavar. Mr. Fieser was the retired 
owner/operator of Fieser Landscaping. He was a Merchant Marines veteran of World 
War II. Visitation and funeral services were at Lawlor Funeral Home, Fr. Carl Scherrer 
officiating. Memorials may be made to the Immaculate Conception Education Fund.
