Jehling, Dora C. “Mamie” nee Jahr Dora C. “Mamie” Jehling nee Jahr, 98, of St. Louis, formerly of the Waterloo/Columbia area, died August 2, 2005, in St. Louis. She was born November 11, 1906, in Valmeyer. She was married to the late Clemens D. Jehling. She is survived by her daughter Janet R. (Julian Kohler) Thompson of St. Louis; daughter-in-law Helen J. Jehling of Quincy; grandchildren Rick A. Diemert, Elise R. Brasidio, Michelle J. Esson, Terry J. (Linda) Jehling, and Suzette R (Kevin) Krummel; great-grandchildren Bruce P. Jehling, Kathryn E. Krummel, Will D. Krummel and Conor D. Black; great-great-grandchildren Theodore D. Krummel, Cameron J. Jehling, and Jacob W. Jehling; brothers Raymond “Chick” Jahr of Columbia and Kenneth (Audrey) Jahr of Columbia; and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son Wesley A. Jehling. Mrs. Jehling was a long-time employee of Waterloo Country Club. Visitation and funeral services were at Quernheim Funeral Home. She is buried at Kolmer Memorial Cemetery in Waterloo. Memorials may be made to Backstoppers.
