The Waterloo Advocate Dec 12, 1862 No 19 DIED Of crysipeias and pneumonia, at is residence, in Waterloo, on Saturday morning, December 6, 1862, Mr. James Sennott. The deceased was a native of Wexford county, Ireland. He was born on the 15th day of May 1818 - received a common school education in his native county, and while in early manhood, immigrated to this country and settled in Prarie du Long. Mr. Sennott was engaged , during the greater portion of his life, in agricultural and commercial pursuits, and became generally known in the different parts of the county for the honesty and integrity of his dealings; he served as a private, with remarkable promptitude in the war with Mexico. Becoming a member of the Democaratic party, he has always, with zeal, advocated its principles, and aided in its success. He was in life a worthy citizen, a good father and a kind neighbor. To know him was to respect him for the independence of his character, always conducting himself with dignity to his manhood and avocation. His sickness lasted but four days - Death came to him with rapid strides, and in the short space of a few days achieved his triumph over frail humanity. In his last moments he was composed, prepared to resign his body to the grave - his soul back to its Maker. May he rest in peace. Submitted by Barbara Coakley Dallas TX
