The Waterloo Republican Wednesday August 1, 1951 Mrs J.S. Sennott Died Here Sunday Morning Mrs. Eleanor Brey Sennott, 86, wife of the late Dr. J.S. Sennott, died at the family home, at 302 West Fourth street, shortly before noon Sunday, July 29, 1951, following a long illness. Her funeral took place this Wednesday afternoon from the Sennott residence, with services in St. Paul Evangelical and Reformed church by Rev. Otto C Bassler. Burial was in the Waterloo cemetery. Mrs. Sennott was born June 5, 1865 at Burksville, a daughter of the late Judge Paul C., Sophia Durfee Brey. She attended the SS. Peters and Paul Parochial school here in Waterloo and for a number of years she taught school here in Waterloo and for a number of years she taught school at Chalfin Bridge and the Blackburn school at Hecker. She was one of the organizers and a charter member of the old Waterloo Flower Association, an organization that formerly held elaborat! e flower displays. She was also a member of the Columbian Club. Mrs. Sennott was married to Dr. J.S. Sennott on January 7th, 1886, who died in January, 1933. She is survived by one son Harry B. Sennott and two daughters the Misses Ethel and Adele Sennott, five grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters and one brother, Mrs. Josephine Morrison of Waterloo, Mrs. Oscar Cramer of St. Louis and Percy Brey of Los Angeles.
