Adam Jung, one of our well known residents died at his home in Waterloo 
Oct. 27, 1934, aged 71 years.

The deceased was born in Bellheim Germany, Sept. 4, 1863, and came here 
when a young man, and has resided here since.

On Oct. 25, 1892, he was married to Gesina Sievers, who survives him.

To this union were born six children-Bernard M. and Fred. L. of Waterloo, 
Henry A. of East St. Louis, Herman P. of Kankakee, Misses Bertha and Helen.  
He also leaves nine grand-children.  Two daughters died in infancy.

He also has one sister living in Germany.

The funeral took place Tuesday in the Catholic cemetery, after requiem Mass 
in SS. Peter and Paul’s Church.
