Coerver, Mrs. Mary Obituary, Waterloo Republic, July 31, 1929 Mrs. Mary Coerver, wife of Killian Coerver of Valmeyer, Ill. died at the hospital in St. Louis, June 29, 1929, aged 65 years. The remains were taken to her home. Funeral serves were conducted in the Catholic church in Valmeyer Monday morning, after which the body was brought to this city for interment in the Catholic cemetery. The deceased was born in Waterloo and spent her early years here. On September 10, 1885 she was united in marriage with Mr. Coerver. Three children were born to this union, two of whom, Walter of this city, and Miss Amanda at home, survive. She also leaves eleven grand-children, and one brother Hy Schuell of East St. Louis. The deceased was a devout member of the Catholic church and was held in high esteem by all who knew her. Her lovable disposition and amiable ways made her a favorite in the family circle and with a large number of friends. The deceased had not been in good health for a number of years, tho nothing so series had been anticipated. A few days since she was stricken with paralysis and taken to the hospital. While she showed some indication of temporary improvement the physicians in attendance realized the seriousness of her malady and gave but little hope for recovery. The funeral took place here Monday morning and was attended by a large number of relatives and friends who tender deep sympathy to the bereaved family. Transcribed by Jean Jung
