Wilson, William R. William R. Wilson, 74, of Hartshorn, Mo., formerly of Waterloo, died July 15, 2007, in Springfield, Mo. He was born Aug. 18, 1932, in Belleville, the son of the late Joseph and Lillian Wilson nee Taylor. He was married to Audrey Wilson. Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife; children Dennis (Denise) Wilson of Worden, Terry (Brenda) Wilson of Waterloo, Shawn Wilson of Waterloo, and Tim (Rebecca) Wilson of Waterloo; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother David (Margaret) Wilson; sister Joan Sims; and nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Wilson was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Houston, Mo., where he was a past president. He was a former member of the U.S. Navy Reserves. He was retired from the Norfolk Southern railroad and owned Wilson’s Western Wear. He was a past president of a senior bowling league, past member of the Prairie du Rocher Saddle Club, and a charter member of the Waterloo Quadrilles Square Dancing club. After retirement he worked with model trains and was rebuilding a Model A. Visitation and a funeral service were at Quernheim Funeral Home, Pastor David Kettner officiating. He is buried at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Waterloo. Memorials may be made to the Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Houston, Mo., building fund.
