Van de Riet, Barbara nee Orschell

Barbara Van de Riet nee Orschell, 62, of Waterloo, died June 27, 2007 in 
Belleville. She was born March 11, 1945, in St. Louis, the daughter of the 
late Peter and Florence (nee Keck) Orschell. Survivors include husband, 
James Van de Riet; daughters Rhonda (Curtis Wiley) DeSpain, Vickie 
Minden, Sandra (Michael) Steingrubey, Judith (David) Rabbermann and 
Cindy (Jeffrey) Winkeler; sisters, Vivian Tollefson and Rita Wagner; grand
children Joshua, Brandon, Nathan, Laura, Andrew, Elizabeth, Kelly, Chad, 
Ashley, Chelsea, Benjamin and Julia; great-grandchildren Taylor, Joseph and 
McKayla; mother-in-law, Leona Burkhardt; and dear friend, Janet Carrico. 
She was preceded in death by sister, Mary Greenwood; and sister-in-law, 
Mary Van de Riet. She was a member of St. Patrick Church in Tipton. 
Visitation was at Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo. A funeral service 
was at St. Patrick Church in Tipton, Father Jose Jacobs officiating. She 
was buried at Immaculate Conception Church in Madonnaville. Memorial 
may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois, Siteman Cancer Center, 
St. Patrick Church in Tipton and the American Lung Association.
