MRS. JOHN GRIFFIN Mrs. John Griffin of Hecker died on Friday, Oct. 11, 1935, after a lingering illness, and was buried Monday morning in the Waterloo Catholic Cemetery after services in the Hecker Catholic church, Rev. Father H. Aydt officiating. Four sons were pall bearers: Edwin, Stephen, Joseph and Albert and a cousin, Wm. Harbaugh, and a friend Noel Roscow. Besides her husband and four sons, she leaves one daughter, Pearl, having lost a grown daughter Stella, about six years ago and several children in infancy. The Altar Society prayed the rosary in her home for her Sunday afternoon after services. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother and will be sadly missed by all. The esteem in which she was held was shown by the large number of sympathizing friends who attended her funeral. Our sympathy goes out to the bereaved ones.
