Riebeling, Irene

Irene Marie (Huwer) Riebeling, 78, of Columbia, died Monday, Nov 1, 1999 at Mariacare in Red Bud.

She was born Jan 31, 1921, in Belleville Mrs. Riebeling was a Homemaker.  She was a 
member of the St Paul United Church of Christ and the evening Womens, League of 
the church.  

She is survived by her husband, Carl Riebeling: four sons, Carl Riebeling Jr. of St. Louis, 
Rev. David Riebeling of Waterloo, Dr. Curt Riebeling of Newton, Conn., and Dean 
Riebeling of Columbia, and seven grandchildren, Michelle, Matthew, Christy, Kristen, 
Adam, Dawn and Heather Riebeling.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Frieda (Vogel) Huwer; two brothers, 
Oliver Huwer and Lorraine Huwer, and a sister, Violet Rehling.

Funeral services were Saturday at St. United Church of Christ.  Burial was in St. Paul 
Cemetery in Columbia. 

Lawlor-Mueller Chapel in Columbia handled the arrangements.
