The Columbia Star Thursday, January 12, 1989 Mary Anna Janson Mary Anna Janson, nee Bequettte, 87, Waterloo, died January 10 at St. Clement Hospital in Red Bud after being a patient there for four days. She was the wife of the late Alfred Janson and had been a resident of this area for 62 years. Funeral services were Thursday at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Waterloo. Burial was in the old SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Waterloo. Survivors include three daughters, Joan Janson, Waterloo, Sister Marilyn, St. Louis, and Charlotte Janson, Waterloo; two sisters, Leiah Coleman, Old Mines, Mo., and Rita Lower, St. Louis. Mrs. Janson was born Sept. 23, 1901 in Old Mines, Mo., the daughter of Frank Z. and Naomi Bequette, nee Bourisaw. Besides her parents and husband she is preceded in death by one daughter, Naomi; three sons, James, Dennis and Thomas; six brothers, Raymond, Rousann, Nelson, Edgar, Floyd, Harry. She was a member of the Mary and Martha Society. DeFabio Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
