Burkhardt, Quinley E. - August 3, 2004
Quinley E. Burkhardt, 87, of Maeystown, died August 3, 2004, in Red Bud. He was born 
September 2, 1916, in Maeystown, the son of the late George F. and Emma C. Burkhardt 
nee Floerke. He is survived by his sisters Dorothy Parsons, of Rohnert Park, Calif., and 
Delvera (William) Eisele, of Fairview Heights; brother Clyde (Pearl) Burkhardt, of Waterloo; 
nieces Portia (John) Stueve and Sheila (David) Zainer; nephews Allen Parson and Steven 
(Dee Anne) Burkhardt; and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Vernell 
C. Burkhardt and nice Phyllis Seawell. Mr. Burkhardt was a member of St. John’s United 
Church of Christ in Maeystown. He was also a member of Maeystown Sportsman Club. 
His visitation and funeral services were at Quernheim Funeral Home, Pastor Ivan Horn 
officiating. He is buried at St. John Cemetery in Maeystown.
