The Waterloo Times Friday, March 26, 1915 West Hecker William Laut and family were visiting at Floraville Sunday. Miss Anna Boll spent Sunday with Charles Hepp and family. Mrs. F. Staufenbiehl and son Roy were at Waterloo Monday. John Rebels and family spent Saturday and Sunday at Burksville. Miss Lee J. Brown spent Sunday with her friend Miss Ruth H. Kemp. M. Burgdorf of Red Bud passed through our neighborhood one day last week. E.C. Brand, E. Ganley, F. Birkner and G. Henkel were Waterloo callers Saturday. Prayers for peace is the warning countries were paid in St. Augustine’s church Sunday. William Laut and daughter Sophia and friend Perrie Klotz were Waterloo visitors Thursday. Miss Anna Boll celebrated her 16th birthday Monday. The evening was spent in playing progressive euchre. There were 15 tables. The winners were: Miss Louisa Schilling, Mat Crowe, George Schilling and Frank Birkner. All had a pleasant time and departed wishing the hostess many more happy returns of the day.
