The Waterloo Times November 12, 1915 WARTBURG Wm. and John Mueller were callers here Saturday evening. Fred Boedecker and family of St. Louis spent Sunday in our burg. Oscar Schmidt and Wm. Boedecker were county hub callers last week. George Nottmeyer of near Madonnaville was a visitor here one day last week. Now winter is here, and it’s here, because it’s here; it’s here because it’s time. Fred Hohnbaum of St. Louis is spending a vacation in this burg for a few days, Mr. and Mrs. Theo. Sheiwe spent Sunday as quests of Chas, Thorburg and family. Geo. C. Buettner and family spent Sunday as guests of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Althoff. Andrew Buesking of Long Lake passed through our burg Friday on his way to Waterloo. Fred Schmeding and family were guests of Hy. Johanning and family of near Burksville Sunday. The foundation that was erected by J. Dunn is now completed. Hy. Wolf of Waterloo had the contract for same and it is expected the house will be completed by about Christmas. Emil Schmidt and John Just spent Sunday in Georgetown where they bought some pigeons. We will now venture to say that they will have enough birds next year to fee Waterloo and St. Louis. Keep the dollars rolling boys, that’s right.
