What do you know about it, Willie? Mr. and Mrs. Louis Ruff of Burksville were Wartburg callers Sunday. Fred Johanning was elected commissioner of road district seven last Tuesday. Hy. T. Buettner and son plastered the new frame dwelling for the Schatte brothers of near Ivy Landing. Mr. and Mrs. George Buettner and little baby boy Clemens left for Columbia, after staying with home folks for a week. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Horn returned home Sunday afternoon. They were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. George Zabold of Willow Springs, Mo. Quite a number of young people gathered at the home of Miss Adele Althoff last Monday evening. The evening was spent in playing games and all present had an enjoyable time. The American Beauties were entertained at the home of Miss Minnie Buettner last Wednesday afternoon, it being the 17th anniversary of her birth. An elegant luncheon was served for the young ladies.
